一、名词性从句。
1、定义：
名词性从句相当于名词，可分别作为主语、表语、宾语、和同位语，分为主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句、同位语从句。
2、考点：
类别：主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句、同位语从句
名词性从句连接词：连接词、连接代词、连接副词（部分词之间区别）
语序：陈述句语序
3、名词性从句的位置
（1）主语从句：主语的位置，多用it作形式主语；
（2）宾语从句：一般位于及物动词或介词之后；
（3）表语从句：位于系动词之后，构成系表结构；
（4）同位语从句：抽象名词的后面，解释名词的内容。
4、从属连词
（一）主语从句
1、连接词引导：
Thathefinishedwritingthecompositioninsuchashorttimesurprisedus。
他在很短的时间内完后了这篇作文，这让我们很惊讶。
Whetherwewillgoforanoutingtomorrowremainsunknown。
还不知道我们是否要去郊游。
2、连接代词引导
Whichever(ofyou)comesinfirstwillreceiveaprize。
无论(你们)谁先到都可以得奖。
WhatIwanttoknowisthis。
我想知道的就是这一点。
3、连接副词引导
Whenwearrivedoesn’tmatter。
什么时候到没有关系。
Howmanypeoplewearetoinviteisstillaquestion。
邀请多少人还是一个问题。
易错点：
A。if一般不用于句首；that在主语从句中不可省略。
B。英语中经常借助it做形式主语，真正的主语是后面that引导的从句。
It is/was+adj。(for/of sb)that。。。
It is/was+n。that。。。
It is important for us that we should eat vegetables and fruits everyday。
It was very kindof you that you helped me carry the box。
It is aduty that we must clean up our class room。
（二）宾语从句
1、连接词引导：
He hasn‘t decided whether t ogo by busorbytrain．
他还未决定是乘公共汽车去还是坐火车去。
2、连接代词引导
He asked whose handwriting was the best in ourclass．
他问我们班上谁的书法较好。
The small children don’t know what is in their stockings．
这些小孩子不知道袜子里有什么东西？
3、连接副词引导
I don‘t know when he will come back．
我不知道他将何时回来。
易错点：
A。that在从句中不做任何成分时，可以省略，以下情况除外：
a。当句中的动词后接多于两个由that引导的宾语从句时，先进个that可省，但后面的that不可省。
例句：He said(that) you were too young to understand them atterand that he was asked not to tell you。
b。当主句的谓语动词与that宾语从句之间有插入语时，that一般不可省。
例句：Just then I noticed，for the first time，that our master was wearing his fine green coat and his blac silkcap。
c。当that从句是双宾语中的直接宾语时，that不可省。
例句：I can’t tell him that his other died。
注意事项：许多带复合宾语的句子，that引导的宾语从句经常移到句子后部，而用it作形式宾语。
例句：I find it necessary that we should do the homework on time。
B。通常情况下whether、if可以互换，一下情况例外：
a。只能用whether，不能用if引导的宾语从句
在带to的不定式前
例句：We decided whether to walk there。
在介词的后面
例句：I’m thinking of whether we should go to see the film。
直接与ornot连用时
例句：I can’t say whether or not thet can come on time。
b。只能用if不能用whether引导的宾语从句：
if引导条件状语从句，意为“如果”
例句：The students will go on a picnic if it is sunny。
if引导否定概念的宾语从句时
例句：He asked if I didn’t come to school yesterday。
引导状语从句evenif(即使)和asif(好象)时
例句：H talks as if he has knownallaboutit。
（三）表语从句
1、连接词引导：
The fact is that he doesn‘t really try。
事实是他没有做真正的努力。
The question is whethert he film is worth seeing。
问题是这部电影是否值得看。
2、连接代词引导：
This is what they are talking about。
这正是他们正在谈论的事情。
The problem is who we can get to replace her。
问题是我们能找到谁去替换她呢。
3、连接副词引导：
That is why he was late for school yesterday。
那就是他昨天为什么上学迟到了。
That’s where you are wrong。
这就是你不对的地方。
易错点：that不可省略。
（四）同位语从句
1、连接词引导：
His parents did alot to help to reduce his fear that he was afraid of the coming collegeen trance examination。
他的父母做了很多帮助减轻他对即将到来的高考的恐惧。
We’ll discuss the problem whether the sports meeting will be held on time。
我们将讨论会议是否按时开始的问题。
2、连接代词引导：
Have you any idea what time it starts？
你知道什么时候开始吗？
3、连接副词引导：
She wrote an article on why she had failed to pass the examination。
她写了一篇关于她为什么诊断失败的文章。
易错点：同位语从句通常放在被解释名词之后，通常由that引导，可用于同位语从句的名词有advice，demand，doubt，fact，hope，idea，information，message，news，order，problem，promise，question，request，suggestion，truth，wish，word等。
